im stuck in the bandit camp of chapter 4, i can go on the hill, and bridge and into the cabin. that's it. when i go up to the trapdoor it says i need to ask G.G. for a refund. i have no saves before this point. what do i do?
sry for the late reply but i started a new game and got a refund for the lockpicks before heading over there and it worked, but it seems if u dont do that you get stuck there
I truly do love this Game. Its humor and overall sense of storytelling add so much to the experience, however, as it currently stands the combat and enemies combined can make for a truly monotonous journey. I will list off sharp difficulty spikes, and confusing design decisions that I encountered.
(Notes: I apologize in advance for grammar and sentence structure peculiarities, I spent over 2 hours revising my thoughts and typing them out, after which I didn’t have any more time to commit to revising them further)
The greatest issue is the Priestess is that she desperately needs a buff, as it currently stands the combat becomes a constant game of “Does she have enough MP for Holy Light, No. well, then I’m fucked. Let’s go back a save for the fifth time so far” Even if restorative items attempt to rectify the issue, it does not it only puts a band-aid on a gaping problem.
I understand that the priestess's depletion of mana was most likely an attempt to balance the character to ensure she is not broken, it however instead severely cripples her usefulness in combat, this becomes a massive problem when you realize just how necessary she is to assisting Goblin Layer to defeat hordes of Goblins especially “Holy Light” which I believe if the game had without it would be unbeatable, without cheating or exploiting. Another point is the standard combat option for her does no damage, which I assume was probably intentional it however makes using her feel incredibly aggravating especially when you end up in situations where she really can’t make any moves besides the basic attack, which does 0 damage, (please make it do at least a little, I get she is a magic type user but 0?)
The unwarranted difficulty of Grindr is a combination of factors, I will only talk about the confusing decision as to why it was introduced when it is. Why is it so early?, the player has no chance of beating it through normal means, and when the player realizes this no exp is gained when you die inside because you die, this forces you to go back a save to save before the Grindr, instead of just kicking you out the front, allowing you to gain exp and try again later, it prevents the player from gaining any exp, said exp would make the fight against Goblina much more manageable, and far less repetitive, the amazon lady fight as well…
Though I documented numerous things I left them out of this message as I didn’t want to make the message too long so that it wouldn’t be a wall of text for you to review, please understand that I love this game but as it currently stands it is far too difficult to stomach (I’m currently stuck on the cheese quest).
Please reach out to me for clarification, or for more information on issues I uncovered with the game, or you can tell me how I was supposed to do something, I digress. Other players are more than welcome to have a conversation in chat with me about it, I would love to see it. Although you may not want it from me, I have some ideas as to how to solve some of these difficulty spikes.
Hello, hello. Thanks for the very constructive criticism :) I've been working a bit on re-balancing stuff, equipment in particular used to be kinda OP, so things can probably be a bit janky at the moment. Might have nerfed the party a bit too hard.
I will add your wall of text on my "have a look at these things"-list! Getting kicked out of Grinder instead of dying is a good idea.
If you got another list of problems, suggestions for improvements and such, I'd be happy to read them. If the comments feel impractical, you could maybe write them in pastebin and link, or visit the discord channel.
It works fine when I test them, but I'll try to figure something out. I've updated some things in 0.44.1.b, hopefully they will help improve performance
Playing current free version, just unlocked the cottage and now i can't do anything. I have cleared the 6 frontier quests, and townhall girl doesn't give me anything to do there.
Quest log isn't telling me anything (Thighs of Thunder quest being latest saying complete)
Click on the cottage and it says to just head there, but there is nothing to do at the cottage? (2 rooms you can't even enter - side room and the one between stair cases)
Goblin Cave is also not doing anything when i enter it.
There were a bunch of bugs in the last version, sounds like you ran into some of them. I just uploaded a new version today, hopefully it will work better!

So I can't get past the second visit from the child support succs in Chapter 4. I'm also having an issue with the blacksmith's imagine spot event, where I did once, didn't get the romance card if that was supposed to drop, and now if I trigger that event, the screen goes black, the 'smacking an anvil' noises plays, and that's it. I can at least load out of that one.
I vaguely remember fixing the blacksmith, but maybe it was in later version. Is your save from an older version? I'll have look :-)
The CH4 succubus freeze thing seems to happen for some ppl, I tested removing some light effects from that area and that seemed to fix the issue for. So should be fixed in future updates. For now you could try turning off light effects in menu before entering the basement, hopefully that helps.
Well it got me to the Succ's warp out at the end of the scene before locking up. Guess I've just got awful luck with this game. Which is a shame because it's great.
If i talk to the top goblin in the cave, select "Sex" and then the blank option, the image on the right side stays there unless i go to speak to her again and select "Nevermind" in the first set of options
If i keep saying to the townhall girl that i cleared the bandits, she keeps giving me the reward (money, a bunch of eggs and something else, i believe)
Wait for my wage at the end of this months, 20$ (For full game, "I hope)
Bad news... bugs, a lot...
1. I found a bug (in faster most option). I can talk with the smith girl during her imagine how he play with the guys. The normal option; buy, sell or what every show up, a shop window. Luckily, the event continues, more worst... The event before of her, "Take of Helmet" start to run again!! along with the first that actually run...But I can end it.... However, it's done, yet. After that, I was send out from the shop with the invisible sprite... No main character pixel... Just a camera more around alone... However, I'd saved the game before talk to her to again. Luckily, this time, anything is going well (But I'm back to normal speed walk).
2. sometime when I talk to the first in our nest cave, the "Option - Se*", there's blank option... if I press it, nothing happen except her picture appear on the right of the screen. It won't disappear unless I talk to her again. It also happen after the quest girl in the guild gave me quest to clear bandits on North.
3. A lot of blank appear and same effect with the first goblin that I mention at the first of this comment. Moreover, I can't talk to the girl that sell all potion (in first village), No name over her head, No interaction or anything...
4. Additionally, the game's frequently lags with no reason even my pc's high-end... Another one, after we got the cottage, elf return to her room in the inn. He sprite disappear even I can interact,
5. The cave (our first base) can re open over and over non limit. Same effect with problem above... Unlimited money...
6. other one, frontline quest when complete, Eastern output can get reward form the guild U N L M I T (Loop..forever) and High way, too. So, I can't clear frontline quest because of those loops... Moreover, when I try to come out the guild, our priest ask me to get "That loop reward", after I get and try to walk, she appear A G A I N... One more loop.... Stuck in the guild forever.
7. After I got the big goblin and pass even make her smaller, nothing more to do... Does the game already cover for now?

Just so you know, there's no "full game" yet, the game is still in development. It's just that the Patreon version is a couple versions ahead of the public version here on Itch :-)

This is honestly a really fun game regardless of the adult content. I have a ton of fun playing it just as an RPG maker game and all the sex scenes add to that enjoyment. You've done a great job.

Old saves have the potential to cause some bugs though.
Patreon version is currently 44.2, I think after 044.2 and onward it will mostly be business as usual again :)

There's a table in the town hall on which one can just walk. It's on the rightmost column of walkable tiles.

How can I rewatch the sex scenes?
At the moment there's a cheat room with scene replay for Patreons. You can also replay some Goblin scene's by talking to them in the cave.
