Help! I just updated to 0.44.9 and I'm trying to re-add it to Steam using the same method I did for 0.44.7 and I cant find the .exe file to be able to add it? Is it gone or can someone explain where I can find it? I just started the game before the update and i moved my save files but cant add 0.44.9 to Steam? I play offline so I can't play in a browser.
So I deleted everything and just tried to do a new download and the .exe is still not on the bottom. The only folders in the GoblinLayer0449Linux are www(10 items),swiftshader(2 items),pnacls(11 items),locales(106 items) and lib(5 items). Any ideas?
I keep having a bug where all the textures turn black and all I can see are the character names. My character is navigable and I can interact with npcs and objects if I can reach them in pitch black.
I've tried reloading the game, using different saves, but the issue persists through save files
Been having a similar problem that happens immediately after Gobelyne's scene. I was able to move and even leave back to the world map but the screen was still black and I could only see the names of nearby locations.
Similar thing to above when I tried to load saves.
It was a new game. The problem was i died in the first encounter and my ally got the final blow, which left me with 0 hp. Once you finish the prelude and make it out the tavern you die respawning you at the tavern. It clicked after a while so i made a new character.
as a followup, is there content beyond the coastal cave quest with barrel? i ask because the special events prompt advises waiting until after dealing with the cheese factory with anvil and barrel, but i dont think ive encountered that as of yet?
My girlfriend watches me play this and we both agree this game is one of the funniest things we've seen. We both constantly laugh our asses off at the dialogue.
My party disappeared when I did the soccer event first, and they were gone after that. then the priestess and others appeared when she learns divine retribution.
edit: I tried reverse order, and they're still gone after soccer event.

Are you sure it's the Xmas event? It sounds like anvils quest. Could you tell me a little more of the steps you took to end up where you are? Like who did you talk to and what areas did you visit?

The game dosent work on MacOS i think the problem is in the folder MacOS the file "nwjs" is the problem im completly sure.

If the exe is gone, maybe something went wrong during download? It should be in there somewhere

It is probably the fade out effect, but if it's not fading in afterwards, or showing some image/animation, then that scene is broken.
When does it happen & is this a new savegame, or one from previous versions?

If you've met Barrel and done the coastal cave thing, then you've already played the cheese factory :). (It's the one with the Business goblin)

I can't enter northport to do the christmas event. Every time I try and enter it stops me at the stairs that takes me into northport.
